Happy Swimmers started teaching at-home swim lessons in 1991 in Los Angeles, with 22 clients. In 1993 we began serving Phoenix, and later San Jose, CA. In 2009 we opened in your delightful city of live music, Austin. We are the largest mobile swim lesson company serving the Austin Metro area.
The Austin region is home to many fine swim schools and city programs, so why do we offer swimming lessons in an area that already has so many swimming teachers? Some kids do well in boisterous social large group swim lessons, but many kids do not, and prefer the quiet, trusting setting of their own home pool and a dedicated, kind-hearted, patient instructor. Our Austin swimming lessons specialize in the latter style of teaching.

Swim Lesson Tip:
Goggles are ok for 3 year olds and up during lessons- IF they fit well and don’t leak much. We encourage parents to get quality goggles, like Speedo’s for children, not the $1.50 pair from the drugstore which leak incessantly. A decent, quality pair of goggles can be very useful in the early stages of learning swimming.

6 years experience teaching!
Serving:Â Austin, Cedar Park, Lago Vista, Jonestown, Leander
I have loved the water since I was able to walk. I have traveled and lived in three countries: China, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. my time living in these countries has provided me with various teaching opportunities and also exposure to different cultures. Students I had instructed have been from China, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Korea, and India. The summer of 2013 was when I became interested in teaching swim lessons to learners of all ages. I had previously served on the aquatics team of Lifeline Aquatics, Safeguard Aquatics, the Lancaster Family YMCA, Twin Lakes Family YMCA, Lititz Recreation Center, and Waterloo Swimming. As I worked with these aquatic organizations, my love of teaching swimming to all learners increased.
I look forward to working with you and your family to help you make swimming an enjoyable experience as the summer heat comes upon us.

With 4 years prior experience, and 10 years of swimming experience, I am knowledgeable in swim instructing and all four strokes. I trained very hard to swim competitively and medaled in the Junior Olympics! Some of my past students have gone on to participate in the Iron Man.
I have 5 years of lifeguarding experience and over 10 years of swimming experience and a medal from the Junior Olympics! The best part about lifeguarding events is getting to have fun and meet great people, while keeping everyone safe.

I have worked as a swim instructor for 3 years and it is one of the most fun jobs that I have had. I love helping children gain confidence in the pool. It is one of the most rewarding feeling in the world to watch a child progress in their swimming ability. I love working with older children between ages 5-12. I have experience working with young children and have been told that I have a talent working with scared children in this age group. I also have experience working with adults of all swimming ability. I am currently a master instructor for Lifetime Fitness.
I have been a Lifeguard for 6 years, three of those years I worked as a waterfront lifeguard at a camp in Austin, Tx. The last 3 years I have worked for Lifetime Fitness in San Antonio as an Aquatics Supervisor in this role I help run swim programming and lifeguard management. As a lifeguard my number one priority is keeping everyone safe and stopping disasters before they happen. I am a fitness enthusiast and I am currently in the hiring process for the San Antonio Fire Department.
