San Jose CA Swim Instructor
Private Swim Instructor
A private swim instructor can make all the difference between your child learning to swim and your child deciding he or she doesn’t like water. Some instructors follow a program without thought to individual development; this is especially true in group classes. Our instructors know how to match their instruction with the level of the child. Of course, adults who haven’t learned how to swim yet can benefit from lessons given in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
Many of our swim instructors are also certified lifeguards. When you need someone to watch over a pool party, we are the people to call in San Jose, CA.
Hello, my name is Hannah and I have been a lifeguard for six years as well as a pool manager for two years! I started swimming competitively when I was five years old (hard to believe that that was 16 years ago!) and I am passionate about sharing my love of the water by ensuring that it is safe and fun for all those who want to enjoy it! I am also a nursing student at the moment (one more year and I will have my BSN and RN degrees) and love using my knowledge to make extra-sure that everyone is safe and having a blast at whatever event is occurring. I love lifeguarding events: I am a big people-person, I love the outdoors, and I love the water! I want to make sure whichever event I am invited to I can help the event run smoothly as well as make it enjoyable for all parties present. A fun fact about me: I just got back from 3 months in South Africa working in clinics and going on adventures, so if you want to see cool photos and videos of shark cage diving, bungee jumping and safaris, I would love to share!
I love teaching people how to swim! I have taught swim lessons for six years excluding my own personal experience with swim. I have taught between the age ranges of 6 months to 84 years old, so I am comfortable with teaching just about everything! I can teach the basics of strokes, refinement of stroke technique, as well as simply getting comfortable in the water and learning how to swim and be safe in water for the first time! Swim lessons hold a special place in my heart because I would never be who I am today if I did not having amazing instructors help me not only gain skills swimming but also making me feel comfortable with my abilities as well as gain confidence. Fun fact about me: my favorite stroke is backstroke, and my favorite race was the 200 meter back– not a popular favorite but loads of fun to me!

I teach water safety by building a loving, trusting relationship with all students, both children and adults, through private swim lessons. I have worked with individuals with special needs, too. I like to give ways to practice and promote even greater learning in-between the lessons and taught children how to survive falls into the water. I love seeing kids grow in their strength and having fun! With my 10 years of experience so far, I have also coached water polo (I was a goalie) and swimming teams, and was a diver in high school.
I serve the Bay Area communities of Morgan Hill, San Jose, Saratoga, Milpitas, among others.Â

Hi, I’ve been teaching swim lessons since I have been 12 and swimming on a team as long as I can remember.
Swimming is a big part in my life and has taught me a lot and I want the same for all my students. My favorite part about teaching is watching the kids have fun while still learning. A fun fact about me is that i’m still on a travel swim team.
Serving:Â North SF Bay of Sonoma Co, Napa Co.
Serving greater San Jose, Sunnyvale, Redwood City, and San Fransico for 3 years.
Hi my name is Ploy, I’m completing my third year at San Jose State University, majoring in Forensic Science. I’ve been in competitive swimming ever since I was 5 years old and continuing to swim at a masters program at a local community college. I also played water polo throughout the time I was swimming competitively. Even though I’ve been only teaching for 3 years, I specialize in water babies, toddlers, adults, and special needs students especially with ADHD, autism and cerebral palsy students. My mission is to give back to the community by teaching everyone how to be safe and comfortable in the water. Best Regards, Ploy
