CPR and Lifeguard Training 

Happy Swimmers offers amazing courses through Red Cross for Lifeguard Certifications, CPR Certifications, and Lifeguard Instructor Certifications. Besides just CPR courses, we can include AED and First Aid training and certifications. In addition, we also teach CPR, First Aid, and AED courses with our own certification if Red Cross is not needed for your organization.

Lifeguard Certifications 

Our fun 2-day blended lifeguard certifications are top notch. If you or someone you know needs their lifeguard certifications, just sign up for one of our many courses! Most lifeguard academies run February through July. You can jump in on one of our already planned lifeguard academies, or if you have more than 6 participants, you can run one at your facility.

In order to get into the lifeguard training, the participant must pass these pre-reqs the first hour of the training:

• 300 yard swim without stopping, no time limit
• Brick tow, jump in, swim to deep end, dive down to retrieve 10-pound brick, tow back to shallow end in 1 minute 30 seconds
• Tread water without hands for 2 minutes

If the lifeguard candidate passes these pre-reqs, our lifeguard instructors teach them everything else they need to know to pass the course.

CPR Certifications 

Our mobile CPR courses are perfect for any organization. We can teach groups of 5 up to 50. Our CPR instructors come to your workplace and bring all of the necessary equipment. Each CPR class is different based on the needs of the organization. Some of the CPR certifications we provide are (Red Cross our Happy Swimmers Cert):

• CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer
• CPR for the community
• First Aid and CPR
• AED and First Aid with CPR
• First Aid
• Pediatric CPR

Lifeguard Instructor Certifications 

If you are tired of having someone come up constantly to train your lifeguards, get some lifeguard instructors for yourself! Our Red Cross trained lifeguard instructor trainers will train up instructor candidates in a 2-day course. You can jump in on one of our already planned lifeguard instructor academies, or if you have at least 6 participants, you can also run one at your facility. Lifeguard instructor candidates must have one year experience lifeguarding, current lifeguard certifications, and finally, must be at least 17 years old. We teach these instructor candidates everything they need to know to teach their own successful lifeguard academies.
